This past weekend, we had plans to go to the beach but on Friday the horrible wind and rain crept up on us out of nowhere so our planned beach day was a bust. (Virginia weather, man.) But I totally made up for that at The Nordstrom Anniversary sale... more on that later ;)
So Saturday was our day... Until nap time came earlier than expected for Penelope and Devon had to run a trailer to his parents house... It just wasn't happening. No biggie - we can adjust! So, we decided to go later in the evening when the tourist crowd had died down, which turned out to be a much better idea anyway.
So here are a few pictures that we took since God gave us a beautiful, clear and humid-free night. Hallelujah! (My curly-haired girls feel me).
