MAC REFILLS | BEAUTY

MAC strikes again. 

When I was grabbing a few items from Sephora about two weeks or so ago, I stopped at MAC to get a lipgloss that I had ran out of... and ended up with all this.

So here's what I got:

Angel Lipglass | 

I go THROUGH this stuff. It's one of my favorite lip glosses EVER. I think I like it so much because I can wear it when I have a full face on and I can also wear it when I have no makeup on and I never look too overdone. It also pairs really well with my natural lip color, since I mentioned earlier in my blog here, that other lip glosses make my lips look purple.... read more to find out what I mean, ha.

Angel Lipstick |

I've never used this before and honestly didn't even know they made a lipstick that was the same as the gloss so I went ahead and purchased it. It's applies evenly and has the perfect pink hue to it. It's also pretty sheer, which is an aspect of lipstick that I love.

Fabby Lipstick |

I was drawn to this color right away. It's an iridescent-like color that has mauve and gold tones to it.  I've never purchased one of their frost shades (I usually buy their creme sheen) before but this one and angel were too pretty, I had to get em. 

Mocha Blush |

Out of all the blushes I have, I own the most MAC. They aren't too pigmented and they always go on so evenly. I don't typically use plum-colored shades in the summertime but this is a true transitional shade for all seasons.

1. Creme Cup lipstick

The PERFECT shade of pink. Super moisturizing and can be used on a casual day just as well as it can be dressed up. I pair this with my Angel lipglass and it's always the perfect pink combo.

2. Prep + Prime

If you're like me and enjoy wearing a red or dark lip from time-to-time, then this will be your new bff. Not only will your lipstick stay-put, it will keep your lips moisturized - even when you're forcing yourself to wear that overly-dry liquid lipstick that you hate to love.

3. Lipglass in Angel

This lipglass has been a staple of mine for the longest time! Mainly because I have really pigmented lips... Almost the color purple... so because other lip glosses can be very non-pigmented, I end up looking either sick or just really cold. Nothing has ever really worked with my lip color... Until I bought this. This shade is the perfect pink for dressing up or down. Just apply it to your bare lips or sweep it overtop Creme Cup for the perfect dressed-up shade.

4. Pro Longwear Concealor NC20

If I could only bring one makeup item with me, this would be it. This concealor does a great job of bringing my face back to life since I have serious dark circles most days and I prefer not to look like I'm about to be cast in The Walking Dead. Thank you.

5. Mineralized Skin Finish in Light Plus

When I want to look put together with no effort whatsoever, I always reach for this. It has the coverage of foundation but is as weightless as a powder. Total win-win.

6. Waterproof Brow Set in Brown Ebony

There's not really much to say other than I naturally have unruly eyebrows and I need all the help I can get at keeping them in their place. So if you're wondering, this stuff is amazing for that. I especially love that it's waterproof - and trust me, it really is - and the fact that it comes in so many different colors... definitely something for everyone. Plus, the spool is just small enough that I don't extend my eyebrow by another foot on my forehead and I still have ultimate control. 

7. Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown 

This is my all. time. favorite eyeshadow. I have gone through about 3 of these because I always find a reason to use it. It's matte so it can really be used all over your face.. think contour, eyebrows, just to name a couple...  It really is a versatile little guy.

8. Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly

I use this paint pot mostly for an eyeshadow base. It matches my skin pretty flawlessy and actually works better as a eyeshadow primer than some of the other more popular ones I've used. I always go back to this. Always.

9. Large Angled Contour brush #168

Last but not least... The large angled contour brush. Although I don't use this for contour, I've really fallen in love with it for blush. The natural fibers are SO good for blending and creating a seamless finish on your skin, especially with something as pigmented as blush.. or bronzer.

| BB Cream and Tinted Moisturizer Picks |

I've tried every BB Cream and tinted moisturizer under the sun - literally - and this moisturizer & BB Cream combo are my absolute favorites.. and they are perfect for the summer months because their staying power is amazing and they don't have the typical melt-on-your-face problem, which clearly no one would be a fan of. These two products are light, creamy and actually cover and  easily blend imperfections away without feeling super heavy and cake-like AND they offer SPF sooooo these are basically perfect in every aspect. You can be sure to get the lil beauties at Nordstrom ;)

MAC's Magically Cool Liquid Powder in Honey Rose

This highlighter is perfect for anytime, anyday. It goes

on light but gives your face an instant glow! Love it!

| Perfume |

My absolute favorite scent: Philosophy's Amazing Grace.

This is such a girly fragrance! I would say this is more

of a "daytime" perfume but I wear it 24/7, wintertime or summertime. 

It's seriously heavenly.

| Bracelet |

I'm forever wearing this Stella & Dot bracelet! It's my favorite go-to accessory

and you CANNOT go wrong by having one. Pair it with a watch for a more

chunky look or wear it by itself.. It's gorg anyway you wanna rock it.

| Polish |

Fiji by Essie

Once again, I will wear this color all year long,

no matter cold or snowy it gets. It's the perfect

pink and it's NOT sheer which is why it'll forever be one of my favorites.

Nightly Routine x

Here are all of the products I use, in the order I use them in:

MACs Green Gel Cleanser. I have super sensitive skin and this doesn't dry out my face at all. Despite the price, it lasts a really long time & I use this cleanser in the morning and at night.

MACs Gentle Off Eye Makeup Remover

This stuff takes off absolutely everything- from red lipstick to waterproof mascara and you don't have to scrub your face to get it to work.. Gently wipe away whatever you need to be gone.

Josie Maran Argan Oil 1.7oz

I can't say enough about this stuff! I was told once by an esthetician that this product would clog my pores so bad and make my already oily skin even worse. Good news - she was so wrong. I had already purchased the bottle and I was determined to make it work for me and for the past 6 months and two bottles later (first bottle was a .5oz), I'm still so happy with how this makes my skin look and feel. You CAN'T go wrong buying this - oily or dry skin!! FYI- I have extremely sensitive, oily skin and I'm acne prone and this hasn't caused my skin a single problem! A little goes a looooong way! Plus, I truly believe that it's helped tone down some of my redness.. Completely worth the money in my opinion. Purchased @ Sephora.

LUSHs Enchanted Eye Cream

I reviewed this in a previous blog and I've been using it every single day since. Under eye perfection.

LUSHs Mint Julips Lip Scrub

I apply this with a little bit of water or coconut oil after I've done my whole routine. I just lick my lips clean once I've scrubbed them and I'll brush away the excess with my finger. This makes all the difference in the world with my lips and I wouldn't dare wear lipstick (especially red for the holiday season) without having used this within the past day or so. It makes your lips plump and flawless <3

Last but not least:

Rosebuds Strawberry Lip Balm

I use this EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT before bed and of course I use it throughout the day. I can't sleep without moisturizing my lips before sleep and this has been my go-to for awhile now. It smells delicious  too! Purchased @ Sephora!

MAC Lippies💋

     How amazing are these colors?! I always end up buying a nude-ish lip color and a bright lip color - never fails! The Pink one is called Impassioned and the nude is called Honey Love. You can NEVER go wrong with a MAC lipstick.. Ever! You have to try these, they last through anything!
